How to Block Game Requests on Facebook

One of the most annoying things on Facebook is when you get game request notifications even when you are not interested in playing the game at all. It can be such a nuisance to a Facebook user. Imagine flooding your account with notifications only to find out that they are game requests from your friends playing the game, but there is a way to get rid of those unwanted game requests. All you have to do is access your account Settings and make a few adjustments.

Steps:

1.Log into your Facebook account. On your browser, enter http://www.facebook.com  and then enter your username and password on the given fields.

2.Go to Settings. On the top-right corner of the interface, click the small inverted triangle and locate "Settings." Click it to view the "Settings" options.

3.Go to Blocking. On the left side of the screen, you will see a tab labeled “Blocking.” Click it.

4.Enter names on the “Block App Invites” section. Locate the “Block App Invites” section. Enter the name of the person who keeps on sending game requests. Enter as many names as needed on the field.
Adding a person’s name to this section will only block the app requests from that person; it will not block him/her entirely.

5.Block apps entirely. If it’s the app that is bothering you and not the person, simply enter the app name on the Block Apps section on the same page as the step above. Enter as many apps as needed.
Blocking apps will disable the app from contacting you or getting non-public information about you through Facebook.
There you go! No more pesky notifications from pesky applications. You can now go on Facebook without having to worry about getting these distractions ever.
